Over the 40 years I have been farming Aloe Barbadensis (aloe vera) and extracting gel for products, 50 KG of leaves filleted produces reliably an average of 28 KG (28 Litres) of gel. The minimum has been 26.5 - the maximum has been 30.3. These records are from leaves picked non-selectively
